The opportunity:
As a Content Marketing Executive in the Impact Science team, you will be responsible to develop and manage the delivery of digital publicity and campaign concepts for the extensive portfolio of clients. Although you will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, your role will straddle both Digital and PR Teams, enabling you to deliver truly integrated campaign outcomes for clients that include on and offline PR activity. Externally, you will be working closely with key journalists, bloggers and other media influencers, and will be required to grow and maintain your own little black book.
Responsibilities:
- Content Marketing and Public Relations
- Disseminate prepared pitch mails to Journalists via online tools and MS Outlook
- Create/update media lists of relevant journalists and publications
- Monitoring and reporting of media coverage
- Supporting with blog management of client projects
- Social Media
- Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy and manage the posting on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest
- Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
- Analyzing and reporting of client campaigns
- Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
- Innovating with new techniques on social media to best achieve set goals
- Requirements (Desires skills & experience):
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience in content/social media marketing or similar role
- Familiar with primary social media platforms and understanding of digital marketing activities on social media
- Working knowledge of MS Office (particularly MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Efficient in time management and prioritizing of tasks
- Innovative thinker and proactive in learning
- Very strong verbal and written English skills with the ability to write engaging content for various audiences
